Third-party cookie
A third-party cookie is a cookie that’s associated with a domain name different from that of the page where the cookie is encountered. Third-party cookies are placed by a page object (an ad, for example) originating from a domain other than the one hosting the page. Most websites contain content originating from different sources (and therefore, different domains).
Third-party cookies are different from First-party cookies , which are associated with the domain of the page being visited.
