Glossary
Funnel
A funnel is a succession of key steps which lead a visitor to convert on your site or app. The funnel shape represents the progressive steps which result in a targeted objective. These key steps are divided into 3 sub-categories:
- TOFU (Top Of The Funnel) is the first contact with the Internet user and their entry into the funnel
- MOFU (Middle Of The Funnel) refers to the first actions that show a visitor’s interest in the site, products or brand
- BOFU (Bottom Of The Funnel) is the lower part of the funnel and refers to an advanced lead about to be converted (purchase, registration).
