Web callback
A web callback, also called a “callback request” on some sites, is a phone call interaction with a site visitor who may become a prospect, either via a real-time or deferred phone call.
A web callback is initiated on a website or mobile application. Web callback features allow a visitor to request a phone call from a company representative to obtain further information or answers to questions.
Typically, with web callback requests, a website visitor must leave his or her contact details, such as e-mail address and/or telephone number, as well as some details about information he or she is looking to obtain. Having this information helps the company more accurately target the prospect’s intentions and determine how to best proceed with the web callback.
